This
is an ideal spot for a holiday in the 'real Spain'. Arcos de la Frontera
is a wonderful place, steeped in fascinating history. We came with
our 3 year-old daughter and she was thrilled at having her own room
in the apartment. We went off exploring from Arcos de la Frontera
and loved the unspoiled Costa de la Luz. And it only took one hour
to get to Seville. Emma and Jim were very friendly hosts!Jan

After
visiting the website, I
came to Casa Campana from Singapore with some friends.
It was all that I had hoped for - and more. Look! Jim lent TK his
guitar - TK LOVES playing the guitar. Speaking of music, we all enjoyed
the Flamenco CDs Jim and Emma provided for us in the apartment.Joycelyn, Singapore
In
the lovely streets of Arcos we enjoyed following the special tour
Emma and Jim had written. Living between two churches, a view at the
lake and the hills on the other side was just what we needed, coming
from our hectic lives in Amsterdam. We really felt like citizens of
Arcos for six days, especially when our children got their hands on
the CD and DVDs of Speekee and started to talk
some Spanish. Hopefully well be back. Tanja, Olaf, David, Madeline, Philip Olmer-Vermeer, Holland
Casa Campana was the perfect place for aging backpackers with family
in tow. We loved the feel of Arcos and we loved the family-friendly
atmosphere (thanks for lending us buckets for the beach!) Best of all
we loved reliving our backpacking days by sleeping in the cool on the
roof. We did have a room... but waking up to amazing aerial bird
displays and the sounds of the town slowly coming to life just
couldn't compete! Not many hotels would let you do that, would they!

Having
visited Arcos before I knew what a splendid location it was and what
a bustling, charming and friendly town it is, full of genuine Andalucian
character. Jim and Emma made our stay as good as being at home, both
of them are perfect hosts and absolute mines of information both about
Arcos itself, its history and its characters as well as the places
to see in the area, not all of them in the guide books. The apartment
is very cosy and comfortable and the views from the roof terrace are
amongst the best in the area. Thanks Jim & Emma for making our
2 week stay far more than just a holiday!Steve (and Denise),

I'm
at my desk again. Did that weekend really happen? ... Pinch me!!!
Getting on that aircraft yesterday was one of the hardest things I've
done in a long time!!!! Choosing to shut yourself up in a little travel
capsule and wave goodbye to 26 degrees!!! .. it's just not natural!!!
We had a fantastic time, so big THANK YOU to you both for making our
trip such a pleasant one. Annie and Dave, Cornwall
Thanks
Jim & Emma for making our stay in Arcos so enjoyable - we really
appreciated your warm welcome, your splendid hospitality and the time
you took answering our questions and offering your suggestions for
local attractions, restaurants and onwards itineraries! You have the
prime position in Arcos, we couldn't have asked for a better location.
We will be recommending you to our friends travelling soon.
Brian, Melle and Zac, Australia
Hope
you are all well.
We just wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying at Casa Campana.
The roof terrace and views of Arcos were fab!!! Your help both in
staying and all the other help you gave us was and is very much appreciated
and we wanted to say Thank You for everything you did for us. We feel
much better about everything. David and Michelle, Scotland
Very
welcoming hosts, fabulous location. Jim and Emma went out of their
way to help me understand the local area, which is very important
if you are a property hunter in Arcos. Though I only stayed at Casa
Campana a couple of nights, I felt quite integrated into the local
community because Jim and Emma, who speak excellent Spanish and know
lots of people, acted as a 'bridge' between me and the locals.

High
quality service from Jim and Emma, which included all sorts of aspects
related to property purchase. Just what I needed, as I came to Arcos
in search of my dream home.James, Ireland
Our
stay at Casa Campana was made pleasurable by the owners Jim and Emma,
who could not have been more helpful. As they speak Spanish, they
helped us in many different ways including dealing with the bank and
organising excursions to places of interest.

Utterly
accessible and amenable hosts, Jim and Emma provided us with a fascinating
insight into Arcos de la Frontera - a town in which the community
feel is reminiscent of bygone days in Britain (and long may it last!).
My four year old had a total ball!
Kit and family, Warwickshire
Excellent
shower in our (guest room) bathroom. I get so annoyed when I stay
somewhere and the shower doesn't even work properly. And your patio
definitely has the 'wow' factor! Jo, Essex
Even
the pictures on your web site don't do Arcos de la Frontera justice.
It is stunning. The Bromhams, London
We
stayed in the apartment. The beds were nice and firm! One of the things
we enjoyed was watching the birds darting about above the roof terrace,
especially in the mornings. We were so surprised at how attractive
the countryside is in this part of Spain - it's much greener than
we had expected, and quite spectacular. Sue and Fred,
East Sussex

This is a labour of love that amounts to a tourism
drive for the entire area. It is a very in-depth
