Emma Bell and Jim Porter are living the ideal lifestyle in Arcos de la Frontera, one of Andalucia’s most beautiful white towns.

Three years ago the couple began to think about leaving Britain, yearning for a fresh start in a country where their children, Joe and Maggie, would benefit from a rich culture and a glorious climate.

“We were ready to start out on an adventure,” Jim says. “Spain was attractive because we liked the idea of being able to get more house for our money, and of bringing up our children bilingually.”
