Guided tour of Arcos de la Frontera

Where
you are standing now
|
| Continue straight on down Boticas Street. On your left hand side look for the bakery called Las Doce Campanas (The Twelve Bells). Just past the shop, look up to the edge of the tiled rooftop. Your keen eye will see the tiny white mask that was placed here to scare evil spirits from the house - a tradition that continued until the mid 1800s. It's one of the last surviving masks in Arcos de la Frontera. |
