Guided tour of Arcos de la Frontera
Where
you are standing now
| And now, just a few paces down Nuñez de Prado Street, you get a view of the Chapel of Mercy's Gothic façade. It was founded around 1490 as a children's home, women's refuge and hospital. If the door's open take the opportunity to go inside and search for the carved images of the first Dukes of Arcos de la Frontera. They are at the back on the right. These days the chapel is used for exhibitions, concerts and the like. And the white house on the right? That's where you'll be staying when you visit us! |
