Guided tour of Arcos de la Frontera
Where
you are standing now
| The first turn on your left after the Palacio is Cuna Street, which marked the old Jewish quarter of town. This is one of the most picturesque streets in Arcos de la Frontera and it's where one of Spain's oldest public granaries existed until the 18th century. It had been established during the time of the Catholic Kings. Barcelona has paid homage to Cuna Street by including it in its suburb called 'Spanish Towns'. You won't be going down the street on this tour, as your next port of call is St. Peter's church. |
