View of the cliff on which the Old Quarter sits. From left to right, the churches are St. Mary's, St. Peter's and St. Augustin's. Notice how wide the Guadalete river used to be. In the 1960s a lake was created near Arcos de la Frontera. It regulates water flow into the river and nowadays the river is much narrower. Hover your mouse over the scene to see how it looks today!
