| It may have been taken in the middle of the twentieth century, but this grainy photo of the Old Quarter sitting on the cliff features a scene which has changed little over hundreds of years. Had the photo been taken centuries ago, would we have seen any difference? Top right is St. Mary's church and to the left of that is the castle. The houses in the picture would have belonged to the nobility of Arcos de la Frontera. |
