Prices
Prices shown are inclusive of 7% VAT (IVA in Spanish). The price of your stay will be confirmed to you by email, once you have submitted your Booking Enquiry.

Booking
Once we have confirmed room availability to you by email, you have 3 days in which to pay a non-refundable deposit to secure the accommodation. The deposit is 30% of the cost for your accommodation during your stay (the remaining 70% is paid on arrival).

How to pay the deposit
The deposit for your accommodation is usually made online, prior to your visit, using PayPal's secure payment system. PayPal.com is the Internet's most popular online payment system and is straightforward to use. If you are not familiar with PayPal, click here to read our brief explanation of how it works.

Discounts
Returning clients enjoy a 5% discount. There is also a 10% discount for all clients staying for 7 nights or more (not applicable during Holy Week or the Moto GP).

Maximum Occupancy
The maximum number of occupants per room, clearly indicated on the Booking Enquiry Form, refers to adults and children. The number specified must not be exceeded by additional guests in the accommodation, or on the grounds of the property, even for short periods.

Arrival and Departure
Your accommodation will be ready by 4pm on the day of your arrival. We will issue you with two keys, one for the main door and one for your room. During your stay you may enter and leave at any time of the day or night. We will need you to sign an official document on your arrival which the Spanish Police require of all legal hostelry establishments (the Spanish authorities need to be aware of where you are staying during your visit to the country). Departure must be before 11am to allow for servicing the room before the arrival of the next client.

Airport Transfers
We are happy to pick you up at Jerez airport and drop you there at the end of your stay. We can transfer a maximum of 4 people at a time. The charge is 30 euros for each journey (total cost 60 euros). By way of comparison, taxi charges from Jerez airport are usually between 33-36 euros. The transfer fee is paid on arrival. We do not offer transfers to or from other airports.

Insurance
We recommended you arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy (including cancellation cover) and that you have full cover for personal belongings, public liability etc. since these are not covered by our insurance.

Access
The streets in the Old Quarter of Arcos de la Frontera are very narrow and were not designed for cars. Even careful drivers here risk a scrape or a dent to their vehicles. As for house access, it is poor for those of limited mobility, mainly because the steps up to the guest accommodation are steepish.

Room cleaning
Your accommodation is usually serviced daily, unless you request otherwise. Bedlinen and towels are provided, within the room rate.

Breakfast
Breakfast is not included. We recommend a local café called Las Doce Campanas for breakfasts.

Pets
We are unable to accept any pets on the property.

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the rooms, but please feel free to smoke on the roof terrace.

Annoyances
Insects are not that prevalent here but can't be ruled out. You may see the odd ghekko too. The house is situated on a narrow street, so traffic passes by quite slowly. Mopeds tend to go faster and can be quite noisy. Local people like to stay out late, which means passers-by are not uncommon into the early hours, more especially at weekends. The house is situated very close to St. Peter's church, the bells of which are quite loud.
